Reiki is not dependent on any belief and it is not a religion or cult. It has no dogma and there is nothing you must believe to learn to use Reiki. Reiki works with all religions and beliefs.

Reiki Healers are not asked to change any religious or spiritual beliefs they may have. They are free to continue believing anything they choose and are encouraged to make their own decisions concerning the nature of their spiritual practices. There are Reiki healers from all faiths around the world.
